Hello from Newton Primary PTA!

We are a registered charity that runs events throughout the year to raise money to support our school. We don’t run as a hierarchy, we are simply a group of parents championing connection within the school community and trying to raise as much money as we can to feed back to our school

Our aims:

● Raise funds that help enrich the school lives of all students

● Create a communication bridge between families and the school

● Provide fun events that help develop friendships and community

Events we run include:

● Colour Run

● Games & movie nights

● Break the rules day

● Christmas events

● Summer Fair

● Pre-loved uniform sales

What we’ve funded already:

● Subsidise school trips for all years to reduce costs for families

● Our Storyhouse theatre partnership

● Our much loved outdoor spaces

● Educational resources & books

● New sports equipment

● New iPads for each classroom

We have a fantastic team of friendly volunteers and we really appreciate their support, by building a strong volunteer team we are all able to pitch in where and when we can. Volunteering gives you a great insight into what we do at the PTA and is a great opportunity to meet other members of the Newton family.
