Operation Encompass

Operation Encompass is a partnership between police and schools. Newton Primary School works in partnership with Cheshire Police as part of Operation Encompass, with the school’s Designated Safeguarding Leads as the main contacts within school.

One of the principles of Operation Encompass is that all incidents of domestic abuse are shared with schools, not just those where an offence can be identified.

Operation Encompass enables us to support children who have been involved in, heard or witnessed a domestic abuse incident as well as those for whom a domestic abuse incident has been reported within their home.
